Splash delivers and supports a range of engaging activities for young people of primary school age, working closely with local schools, community organisations, and emergency services. These include interactive cooking sessions, often using affordable, nutritious food from our community larder, where children learn to prepare healthy meals they can share at home.

We also support CPR awareness days in partnership with local first responders and emergency services; take part in the multi-agency Crucial Crew event, which equips young people with vital safety knowledge. We arrange swimming lessons through Live Borders for children aged 11+ who cannot swim; a vital skill in our coastal town.

In addition, we offer volunteering opportunities to young people 13+, helping them to build confidence, learn new skills, and take pride in contributing to their community. Together, these projects aim to build practical life skills, boost confidence, encourage healthier habits, and strengthen ties between home, school, and the wider community.

Saltire Awards

We also offer all of your young volunteers Saltire Awards.
