Susie has been working for Splash since 2016, and loves her job with a passion. Before her role with EDT and Splash she was a Youth Worker for 8 years. In this time she gained a BA (hons) in Social Pedagogy, Youth work, Community Learning and Development and a postgrad diploma in Reflective Leadership and Management. Going back even further she was a hairdresser for 16 years with her own salon in Coldstream, which is around 2 miles from where she lives now with her husband Douglas in the glorious countryside. Her hobbies include walking, socialising (always up for a decaff coffee and a cheese scone!) and holidaying whenever she has the opportunity.

Liza has worked for Splash since June 2025.  She lives in Eyemouth, which has been her home now for 20 years. She  loves the stunning coastal scenery and amazing wildlife found on the Berwickshire coast, both above and below the waves. She first came to the area to be the Ranger for the Berwickshire Marine Reserve and then moved on to be the Senior Ranger at St Abb’s Head. After she was made redundant from the latter she ran a Wildlife Tours business for a few years.  She so enjoys being part of the Eyemouth community, that she decided not to seek a rangering job elsewhere after her redundancy. She now works a number of part-time jobs alongside her work at Splash as well as running gong baths in order to pay those pesky bills!

Alison has been working for Splash since August 2024, but started volunteering with Splash during the Covid pandemic.  Her main responsibility is to lead a brilliant team of volunteers to serve up to sixty people with a selection of home baking, hot drinks and light lunches at the weekly Brunch Hub. She loves meeting and chatting with everyone and working alongside other volunteers.  She also helps out as a volunteer at the Community Larder and Fridge which helps to reduce food waste from local supermarkets.
