Nature for Wellbeing Group
This group aims to make the most of the health-giving properties of the amazing high quality natural environment that we have in and around Eyemouth. The weekly sessions are led by Community Project Worker and ex-Ranger, Liza, who has 35 years experience of environmental education and a particular interest in therapeutic power of nature. They incorporate NHS five steps to Wellbeing: connecting with others; being physically active; learning new skills; giving to others; and paying attention to the present moment. We tend to go for a short stroll, at a gentle pace, over easy terrain and then have a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
